Clos des Nines Pulp

Clos de Nines is a small wine estate in the heart of the Languedoc. It is owned and run by Isabelle Mangeart and her husband Christian Marbler who named it after their three daughters (Nines meaning little girls in the old occitane language). With only 5 hectares of vines in production (Alicante, Cinsault, Syrah, Carignan, Grenache) they hand pick every grape themselves and produce small volumes of seriously good, rich full-fruited wine.Definitely a rising star in the Languedoc.

Wine Spectator

"Intense with its pepper, smoke and dark fruit flavours. Brooding yet balanced, with plenty of muscle and luscious dark chocolate and espresso notes. Has a long finish of mineral and paprika. Drink now through 2012. 500 cases made. "
