"This is a real treat. The nose is more like a regular red - it is dense and mildly plum-like - while the palate is like a lighter version of a Pauillac. It's made from cabernet franc and the blackcurrant, cedar and light violet notes will have you convinced this is a full-on red. However the lifted and decidedly crisp finish shows its rosé credentials. Drink it with well-herbed lam, balsamic-laced nutty salads and perhaps char grilled peppers."
