Cabernet Sauvignon

The great purple Cabernet has arguably the strongest claim to being crowned King of all Grapes. It is planted almost everywhere and wines made from it range from cheap and cheerful to some of the greatest wines on planet earth. No matter where you find it however it is instantly recognisable and nearly always stays true to is blackcurrant/blackberry flavoured core.
