Part of Argentina's great first cru estate of Catena; the 2006 Alamos Chardonnay shows a light yellow colour with greenish tones. The nose is fresh and focused, with ripe tropical and citrus fruits la yered with floral notes and a touch of vanilla.The mouthfeel is clean, with pineapple and mango fruits with a touch of lemon and sweet spice.

In the vineyard

Aged for 6 - 9 months in French and American oak. Extended lees contact with regular battonage.

In the winery

100% Chardonnay from the Uco Valley reaching altitudes of over 1200 metres above sea level.
