Rugby World Cup is in full swing and what could be better than supporting Ireland on the pitch than by supporting Ireland in the glass. Here is my list of some great Irish craft beers to enjoy while watching the match.
Filling out the position of Hooker in my front row is Fulcrum from Tyrone. This wheat beer is broad and full bodied but with a delicate touch. If you like your beers bigger still then I’m thinking double IPA, try out Galway Bay Of Foam & Fury or Blacks High Viz. These guys are big, powerful and definitely have the strength for the front row.
For my backs I’ll go with something a bit zippier. Little Island Cider is smooth and mellow but with a crisp and clean finish. Or how about the lively Blacks Session IPA a crisp, light but full flavoured and refreshing ale. My full back of the team is 8 Degrees Full Irish, always dependable while bringing a touch of class to any line up.
And what better way to enjoy these beer than at 6 for the price of 5, in store and online here. But be quick, our sale is drawing to a close and must end Tuesday 29th of September.
