We are constantly on the lookout for new and interesting craft beers to add to our range and this week we are delighted to add an array of beers from Siren Craft Brew.
Hailing from Reading in the UK, Siren only started brewing in 2012 but have already garnered some impressive accolades, including being named “Best New Brewery in England” in 2013 followed by “Best Brewery in England” in 2014 by RateBeer.
Since their inception they have been creating a stir due to their creativity and adventurous approach to brewing. Whether it is their extensive use of barrel ageing (from Bourbon to Grand Marnier to Chardonnay and so much more!) to their interesting collaborations with some of the best craft brewers.
Recently they have collaborated with Surly Brewing to create ‘Blue Sky Blue Sea’ a seaweed and cloudberry Gose and also with Hill Farmstead in the US to make ‘Love of Work’, a hoppy blonde ale brewed with Earl Grey tea.
But it’s not all salty beers and Bourbon barrels, their aim is to “make beers that are enjoyable, cover a wide range of needs from being accessible to the truly unique and occasionally challenging, but each has a purpose, personality and ultimately draws you in to want to try more.”
Their core range offers stand out beers in styles people will be more familiar with. The hoppy and fruity Soundwave IPA and their smooth yet spicy oatmeal pale ale, Undercurrent are definitely worth seeking out.
Expect more to follow fromthis great brewery. You can check out the current range available here.
