Valentine’s Day, Beer and Cider To Share

If you are staying in and creating a romantic meal for two or just cosying up by the fire, I have picked some great options to share this Valentine’s Day. Of course these are great options for treating yourself as well!

Why not experience some new spirits like the full complex flavours and creamy mouthfeel of Irish Single Pot Still Whiskey. The Single Pot Still gift pack form Midleton Distillery contains four miniature sample bottles of some the best expressions of the style. If gin is more your flavour then Dingle Distillery have the perfect answer for you. This small batch artisan distillery have produced a Gin Gift Pack containing a collection of four different gins made with different botanicals representing the four seasons. Perfect to discover together.

Stonewell Esterre is a premium Irish cider made to reflect the refinement of sparkling wine. Made from a single variety of eating apples, Elstar, it pours with a fine light mousse. It is dry, clean and crisp on the palate with citrus notes and a smooth finish. All with an alcohol content of just 6%, it’s easy to go back for a second glass. You can get a bit adventurous with Estrella Inedit, brewed with wheat and barley malt and lightly spiced with liquorice, orange peel and coriander. Designed specifically to accompany food, it is a delicate and understated beer. If you or that special someone’s taste tend more towards the hoppier side then Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere with its flavours of floral and tropical hops balanced with sweet caramel malts is a perfect match. All three are available in larger bottles, the perfect size for sharing.

We also have a great range of other craft beers available, the ideal gift for someone you love or as a treat for yourself.
