We’re delighted to announce that the hugely popular O’Briens Wine Festival is making a welcome return on the 26th and 27th of May 2023. Taking place in the bright and spacious surrounds of the RDS, this year’s Wine Festival will feature more than 280 wines from over 60 of the world's best winemakers. So whether you’re a devoted wine buff, a casual fan, or just want to try something new, it promises to be an unmissable event. And tickets are on sale now!

A World of Wine
“There are winemakers flying in from everywhere, including Australia, Argentina, Chile, the US, Germany, Spain, Italy and France,” says O'Briens Wine Director, Lynne Coyle, Master of Wine, “and this year we have a big contingent coming from Portugal. It’s the A-Z of the most important wine regions of the world.”
Rosé & Bubbles
The ever-popular Rosé tables are back this year too – a great way to kickstart the summer – and for the first time, some of the world’s top Champagne houses will be joining us at the festival. It’s an unmissable chance to try spectacular wines from top Champagne houses including Bollinger, Moët & Chandon, Piper-Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck to name but a few.

There will be 20 new producers joining us for the first time this year and there will be even more chances to attend one of our excellent masterclasses across the weekend too. Try some new wines, chat to the winemakers behind your favourite bottles and pick up some expert info on the world of wines.
If you’ve ever wanted to compare Sauvignon Blancs and Chardonnays, learn more about how wine is made, or discover what the wines of Greece taste like, this is your chance!

Tickets: Priced at €35 per person, tickets include all wine samples, a wine brochure and a complimentary Tipperary Crystal wine glass to take home. The proceeds from this year’s Wine Festival are in aid of our chosen charity partners ARC Cancer Support Centres.
