O'Briens Wine Cookie Policy
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, preferences, basket items) over a period of time, so you don't have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.
The Cookies we issue
Broadly speaking we issue two types of cookies, first party and third party. First party cookies are cookies issued by our webserver and are registered to our domain. They are typically required for our website to perform as you would expect. When you browse our site you may also receive Third Party cookies which are not issued directly by us but we facilitate their deployment to enable third-party services on our site such as our live chat function or A/B testing or to measure and improve the effectiveness of our online advertising on other websites. To make the process as transparent as possible we have grouped the cookies issued into 4 groups; First Party Cookies, Third Party Analytics Cookies, Third Party Marketing Cookies and Third Party Service Cookies. In each group we have named each of the cookies issued, explained who issues them, for how long and the general purpose for their existance.
First Party Cookies
These cookies are issued by our own webserver and help the site to work the way you would expect it to work.
