Keeping the theme green for our online wine tasting in March, we are delighted to welcome Gérard Bertrand who will be joining O’Briens Wine Director, Lynne Coyle Master of Wine.
Drinks Business 'Green Personality of the Year', Gérard is the owner and winemaker of 16 wine estates located on some of the most remarkable terroirs of the South of France. Starting in the vineyard from the age of 10, with his father in Corbières, he is now one of the most influential wine producers in the world, pioneering an organic, biodynamic, and sustainable grape farming philosophy. Gérard is also a former French rugby international, so we look forward to chatting with him about his passion for the wines, lifestyle and food of his beloved South of France, as well as his drive to transition all his wine estates to organic farming.
