Delheim Chenin Blanc Wild Ferment
The grapes for this wine come from two premium sites on the Sperling family's premium Stellenbosch vineyards of South Africa. A rich and complex take on Chenin Blanc the wine is fermented in French oak using wild yeasts before ageing on the lees for seven months. <br> A pale straw colour in the glass it is bursting with vibrant aromas of stone fruit, lemon blossoms and a smokey, honeyed complexity from the oak barrels. The palate is complex and layered with peach and pineapple flavours before the long subtle nutty and grapefruit finish. A stunning and unique wine that shows top quality, minimal intervention winemaking of this family estate.
