Another brilliant vintage from this king of Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs. So far this has picked up an "Outstanding" rating from Wine Spectator Magazine. More awards are sure to follow.

In the vineyard

A warm mild spring resulted in an ideal flowering and an even fruit set. Extended dry periods during the season coupled with intermittent rainfall at key times resulted in a perfect canopy and fruit development.

In the winery

The fruit is machine harvested in cool evening conditions, destemmed and lightly pressed with minimal skin contact. Clear, cold-settled juice is fermented in stainless steel vats at low temperatures and using neutral wine yeast strains to allow the powerful fruit flavours to dominate.

  • “Tasty”
Definitely one of my favourite Sauvignon Blanc. Introduced to me by a friend and it's my go to since then. Great with many foods or enjoyed on it own.

  • “Fabulous”
My wife an I love Sauvignon Blancs and Astrolabe is the best we've had. It has very clean lines, is subtle yet bursting with ripe fruit flavours including a hint of gooseberry. At €12.99 it is terrific value.

"Impressive and delicious, evoking the supple, fleshy texture of biting into a ripe, white peach. Features plenty of mouthwatering acidity, along with lemon, ruby grapefruit and pineapple notes, accented by lemon verbena, sea salt and dried honeysuckle.
