Cinsault

Cinsault is widely used in Southern Rhône & Provence blends. It has an aroma and flavour profile of raspberry, red current, cherry and violets and is often used to make rosé wines as well as reds. Its tannins are gentle so its purpose in a blend is to bring aroma and fruit forward flavours to compliment other grape varieties.
