Sherry, a type of fortified wine from Spain's Andalucian region, has been around for centuries. Often thought of as a sweet wine, there are in fact lots of style of sherry, from the bone dry to the wonderfully sweet. Fino, Manzanilla, Amontillado, Palo Cortado and Oloroso are all dry sherries while Pedro Ximenez and Moscatel are sweeter styles. Wonderfully versatile and food-friendly, sherry can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a meal or dessert.
