Delivery

Delivery Times

We offer free delivery to anywhere in the Republic of Ireland. Delivery is free when your order is over €100 and €7.50 for all other orders.

We use an independent courier service DPD to deliver your order, typically within 3-5 business days, between 9am-5pm Monday – Friday (excluding bank holidays).

When you place your order you will:

  • Receive an email from us confirming receipt of order and including your order number – typically starting with WO-
  • When your order is shipped you will receive a second email containing your tracking number. This tracking number can be used on our courier’s website https://dpd.ie/tracking to track and see the status of your delivery.

If you have any queries about your order you can contact our team directly at online@obrienswine.ie or 01 269 3139 please have your order number ready to quote so we can deal with your query as quickly as possible.

You MUST be over 18 to order on our website and identification to prove this will be required by the delivery driver if they think you look under 23. The ONLY acceptable forms of ID are a passport, drivers’ licence or national age card.

Click & Collect

If it suits you better to collect an order at your local O’Briens store you can check the stock availability and order and pay online. Stock may vary from store to store. There is no charge for this service but please allow up to 24 hours for your order to be ready for collection. Similar to placing an order for delivery, when you order to collect in one of our stores you will receive an initial email to confirm receipt of your order and a second email once your order is ready for collection.

When you are collecting your order you will be asked for your order confirmation and photo ID or the credit card you used to place the order.

You MUST be over 18 to use our click and collect service and identification to prove this will be required by the staff member at the collection store if they think you look under 23. The ONLY acceptable forms of ID are a passport, drivers’ licence or national age card.

Returns

If you would like to return or exchange your order you have 30 days from the day you receive your order to do so.  If you decide to return or exchange please first contact online@obrienswine.ie or 01 269 3139 to let us know that this is your intention an how you wish to do your return.  

Orders can be returned to our warehouse at our head office (customers will have to cover delivery fee).

Returned free of charge at any O’Briens store - see here for full list of store locations – please note a printout of your original confirmation email will be required as proof of sale in order for us to process your refund. The card used in the transaction will be refunded, our stores will not be able to refund orders with cash. It will take 30 days for your refund to be processed.

Returned goods must be in resaleable condition with labels intact. When returning a set of products eg. a mixed case or gift box, all products must be present with the set complete. When posting returns, suitable packaging must be used to ensure save delivery. We suggest you retain your original delivery packing for this purpose. 

In the unfortunate case of goods being faulty or damaged in transit, O’Briens offer the choice of either a replacement or a full refund including any postage costs incurred. Please contact us directly and immediately by phone 01 269 3139 or email online@obrienswine.ie and we'll take care of everything.

Please note if you do return your order your loyalty points will also be deducted from your loyalty account for that purchase.

Checking your Order

The O’Briens Loyalty Club allows customer to collect points with purchases and use these points as credit against future purchases. More information on our Loyalty Club can be found here.

Points can be collected while you shop online too. Points collected online can be used in any of our stores. You must create a loyalty account in order to earn and spend points with O’Briens.

Can I earn / spend my loyalty points online?

Is there a minimum order amount to shop online?

There is no minimum order when shopping with us online. €7.50 is the delivery fee for any order, this is free if the order exceeds €100 in value.

Can I send to multiple address?

Yes you can, this option is available at the checkout stage.

Can I send my order as a gift?

Yes of course, we have many gifting and packaging options available to chose from. There is also an option to add in a personalised greetings card when you have finalising your order details.

Can I create an account?

Yes, if you create an account, we will store delivery addresses and contact phone numbers for subsequent orders however for security reasons we do not store your credit card details and you will need to enter these each time you place an order.

Where’s my order?

Your tracking number is issued to you via email when your order is shipped, you can track your parcel here https://dpd.ie/tracking.

If you have any questions about delivery or would like to check the status of an order that you have placed, you can log in to your account or contact us by emailing online@obrienswine.ie or 01 269 3139. To help us assist you as quickly as possible please quote your order reference number which typically starts with WO- this will have been sent to you on your order confirmation email.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order immediately up to the point of dispatch. Simply contact us by phone on 01 269 3139 or email online@obrienswine.ie. Can I send goods to Northern Ireland, or anywhere outside of Ireland?

Unfortunately, no. Currently we can only deliver to addresses in the Republic of Ireland.

Can I return my order?

Yes, you have 30 days to return or exchange your order – beginning the day you receive delivery of your order.

Our full product range is not available on our website and stock variances may cause some products to temporarily go out of stock online even though it is available in another store.
