Cantina Orsogna
Cantina Orsogna
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo doc, Italy

Nestled in the foothills of Abruzzo, Cantina Orsogna is a pioneering cooperative winery committed to organic and biodynamic viticulture. Its wines reflect the richness of the land and the values of its grower community.

Founded in 1964, Cantina Orsogna is a cooperative of over 300 growers cultivating 1,500 hectares, 85% of which are certified organic and 35% biodynamic under Demeter certification. Led by oenologist Camillo Zulli since 1995, the winery champions native Abruzzo varieties such as Montepulciano. Their wines are crafted with minimal intervention, often fermented with native yeasts and aged in cement or oak. The winery also supports conservation initiatives like WWF’s Euro Turtles project, reinforcing its belief that great wine begins with living soil and a thriving ecosystem.
