Cave de Saint-Désirat has decades of experience, and their modern wine cellar combines state-of-the-art equipment with traditional winemaking techniques. The result is exceptional wines that reflect the unique character of the northern Rhône vineyards. The climate here is cooler than in the south, making it ideal for producing lighter, more elegant expressions of Syrah. In some wines, the co-operative follows the traditional Rhône practice of co-fermenting a small percentage of Viognier with the Syrah, a method that helps preserve the wine’s colour while adding delicate floral aromas.
