The 45-hectare estate spans the communes of Pierrefeu, Puget-Ville and Cuers, an area known locally as the Golden Triangle of the Côtes de Provence. Red clay soil mixed with limestone pebbles are ideal for vines, and the Mistral wind keeps the vineyard dry and largely free of disease pressure.
Olivier Deydier de Pierrefeu now runs the domaine, the third generation of his family to do so, and has farmed it organically since 2005, working the soil with compost and natural fertiliser rather than chemical sprays. The estate's rosé has won numerous awards over the years.
