Located in southern Burgundy, Château-Fuissé was founded in 1862 and remains in the hands of Famille Vincent. Fifth generation, Antoine, is winemaker and General Manager since 2003.
The family’s 40 hectares of vineyards are draped across some of the best terroir of southern Burgundy and Beaujolais. The climate is temperate continental, with cold winters and warm summers that gently ripens the grapes. The family’s vineyards are planted solely the white Chardonnay grape in Burgundy and the red Gamay variety in Beaujolais. Famille Vincent farm their land with respect to sustainable practices.
Winemaker, Antoine Vincent’s focus is on producing grapes that best express his terroir with a balance between natural ripeness, concentration and mineral freshness. He utilises high quality French oak and stainless steel in the winery.
