Domaine Marchand
Pouilly-Fumé, Loire valley, France

Domaine Pierre Marchand is a family estate in Pouilly-sur-Loire with history dating back to 1650. They produce classic Pouilly-Fumé wines that highlight Sauvignon Blanc’s potential in the Loire valley.

Eric Marchand spent his childhood among the vineyards, helping his parents and learning from them a deep love for the land. After studying viticulture, he and his brother Pascal took over from their father.

Rooted in the heart of Pouilly-Fumé, Domaine Pierre Marchand has long cultivated Sauvignon Blanc on limestone, clay, and flint soils, elements that give the appellation its hallmark minerality. The cool climate and influence of the Loire River create ideal conditions for producing fresh, aromatic white wines with both vibrancy and depth. The Marchand family combines their traditional know-how with a commitment to faithfully express the terroir of their beloved Touraine.
