Cradled at the confluence of the Indian and Great Southern Oceans, the Margaret River wine region enjoys a gentle maritime climate of cool wet winters and warm dry summers. The region’s geologically ancient gravelly loam soils provide a stable foundation for their 20-year-old grapevines. Varieties cultivated include the black Cabernet Sauvignon grape and Sauvignon Blanc & Chardonnay for the estate’s white wines. Vineyards are farmed with a holistic and sustainable approach, with a firm belief that a truly great wine is created from the ground up.
In his modern winery, Bruce Dukes crafts wines with the attention of capturing a tender balance between taste, fragrance and texture. He uses temperature controlled stainless-steel and high-grade French oak barrels.
