Family-owned and run, Guerrieri Rizzardi can trace their winemaking history back to 1649. There are over 80 hectares across three Veneto estates in Bardolino, Valpolicella and Soave.
The Veneto climate is continental and a wide range of grapes are grown in the different regions, such as Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Merlot for the reds and Pinot Grigio, Trebbiano and Garganega for the whites.
Farming takes place across 70 different vineyard plots with vines up to 45 years old. Local plant diversity is encouraged in the vineyards and high-quality work in the vineyards though-out the year facilitates low intervention winemaking in the cellar.
The estates son, Giuseppe Rizzardi, manages the vineyards and makes the wines. Giuseppe works with elegance, variety and terroir authenticity as his motto.
