The Galicia Group is a family project run by siblings Carmen and Santiago García, bringing the wines of northern Spain to a wider audience.
Groupe GCF, also known as Les Grands Chais de France, was founded by Joseph Helfrich in 1979 and has grown into one of the largest privately owned wine producers in France. The group now owns dozens of estates and châteaux across the country's key wine regions, from the Loire and Burgundy to Bordeaux and the Languedoc, alongside its export and distribution business reaching markets worldwide.
What unites the group is a hands-on approach to each property it owns. Rather than running a single house style, GCF lets its individual estates express their own terroir, grape varieties, and winemaking traditions, with many holding organic or sustainable certifications. The result is a portfolio that spans crisp Loire whites, structured Bordeaux reds, fresh Beaujolais crus, and Languedoc classics, each shaped by the people and place behind it.
