A family business with a strong Irish heritage, Teac Mor operates with a philosophy of balance and simplicity. Their stunning Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are made from their own biodynamically farmed vineyards in California's Russian River Valley.
Founded by the Moore family, whose roots trace back to Galway, Teac Mor (meaning “big house” in Gaelic) planted 30 acres of vineyard in 1998, with production beginning in 2009. Steve Moore manages the vineyards using biodynamic methods, including an olive orchard and vegetable garden to encourage a healthy, balanced ecosystem. The estate production is small scale, ensuring careful attention to detail. Their minimalist winemaking preserves fruit purity: cool fermentations, lees ageing, and gentle handling, yielding complex, refined wines with freshness and integrity.
