Torbreck Wines
Barossa Valley, Australia

Torbreck is a renowned Barossa Valley winery in South Australia, founded in 1994 and celebrated for producing bold, expressive wines inspired by the Rhône Valley in France.

Named after a forest in Scotland, Torbreck has built its reputation on old-vine Shiraz, Grenache, and Mataro from the Barossa’s ancient vines. The region’s warm climate and low-yielding vines produce intensely flavoured fruit, which the winery handles with traditional methods such as open-top fermentation, basket pressing, and maturation in French oak. Torbreck’s philosophy is to honour the growers and vineyards that make the Barossa unique, crafting wines of depth, generosity, and a strong sense of place. Today, under winemaker Ian Hongell, the estate continues to produce a celebrated range, from approachable blends like the Old Vines GMS or the 100% Shiraz Struie, each reflecting the power and beauty of Barossa wines.
