Villa Raiano was born in 1996 in the old oil mill factories of the Basso family. They built their current cellar in 2009 on top of a hill in San Michele di Serino. This impressive structure is integrated into the environment, surrounded by vineyards and chestnut woods.
We are excited to introduce the wines of Villa Raiano to our range. They are a family-owned winery in the region of Campania, which has been the source of great wines since ancient times. This region was colonised first by the Greeks and later the Romans, who highly regarded the wines of the area.
The native grape varieties of Campania are some of the most exciting in Italy. Greco di Tufo, Falanghina and Fiano di Avellino are the trio of whites, each with unique characteristics, making them perfect matches with local food. Aglianico is the signature red that will be a revelation to those who have not tried it.
The wines are made from vineyards with different altitudes, microclimates, and soils. This diverse landscape allows the Villa Raiano team to craft wines that truly reflect the region.
