Gavi is a northern Italian style of wine, exclusively made with the local Cortese grape variety. ‘Cortese’ means ‘courteous’, which suits its easy, accessible style and this top example comes from the Ascheri family who have been producing fine wines in Italy's Piedmont since 1880. This elegant Gavi features plenty of ripe stone and bright citrus fruit freshness. A light and floral wine that works well with a wide range of food, from pork dishes to seafood.
