Description

Made by Berberana, one of Rioja's oldest names, founded in 1877 in Ollauri, in the heart of La Rioja. The bodega has 50,000 barrels in its care, and the wines have never been better. This Reserva is made from the noble Tempranillo grape, which produces the region's finest wines. The wines are carefully aged in American oak barrels, followed by further ageing in bottle before release. This ensures a wine that balances delicate oak and fruit, already matured and ready to enjoy.

Tasting Note

Deep cherry. Expressive nose of liquorice and black pepper, with oak seamlessly absorbed into the wine's natural complexity. Fresh on the palate, with elegant, polished tannins and remarkable drinkability.
