Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old 70cl

Islay, Scotland

Unpeated Islay Single Malt
46.3%

Description

Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old is something different from Islay, a single malt from Scotland's peat island that has no peat whatsoever. The tallest stills on Islay with their long swan necks produce a lighter, more delicate spirit. It is matured in bourbon and sherry casks and bottled non-chill filtered with no added colour. A double gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2026 and gold at the International Spirits Challenge in both 2024 and 2025 recognise the quality of this special whisky.

Tasting Note

Sweet aromas with dried fruity notes, creamy caramel with hints of brine, vanilla, nuts and spice. The palate has rich sherry and roasted nuts balanced with sweet malt and sultanas. A warming spice gives way to velvety caramel and subtle coastal influences. The finish is long and lingering, rich, full bodied with a spray of sea salt.
