Description

Château Ferran is named after Robert de Ferran, who was a lawyer at the Bordeaux Parliament in the 17th century. The famous philosopher and artist Montesquieu was owner of this estate in the 18th century and now the estate is owned by the same family since 1880. Philippe and Ghislaine Lacoste are the fifth generation to manage it. Along with vines in this Pessac-Leognan estate there is a forest with some trees over 100 years old. Château Ferran is a medium to full bodied red with a rounded fruity palate showing notes of plum, blueberry and black cherries, the tannins are integrated, and the finish is fresh.
