The long-standing first growth of Pouilly-Fuissé has always made superb terroir wines. The grapes for this wine come from a single, estate owned parcel of old vines (50+ years). The complex soils add to the complexity of the wine that is framed by ageing in high-quality French oak barrels. Simply put, this is serious high-end Burgundy.Tasting Note
The Clos was raised to the rank of the sole 1st single vineyard of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation in 2020.. It is a mythical plot of 2.7 ha, surrounded by dry stone walls, typical of Burgundy. Intense and powerful with ripe apricot and brioche notes, the elegance and balance is achieved with its crisp bright acidity on the finish.Product Reviews
