Château Grand Barail is situated on a clay-limestone mound overlooking the vast wine-growing area of Saint-Emilion, Pomerol and Lalande de Pomerol. This modern fruit driven is Montagne-Saint-Émilion is owned and has been run by François and Maria-Dolorès Linard since they bought the estate in 2001. Only 7.5 hectares, the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vines are between 20 and 30 years old. Château Grand Barail has notes of morello cherries and blackcurrant followed on the structured palate by soft and silky tannins and notes of fresh red and black fruits.Product Reviews
