Description

If you're looking for a fresh, powerful red give this one from Château Haut-Cadet in the north of Saint-Emilion a try. The winery has been owned by the Gaye family since 2015 and this is a modern style Bordeaux. It's smooth and supple with bold fruit and oak notes balanced by a mineral note.

Tasting Note

Fresh, powerful, and fruity notes of blackberry and wild strawberry are followed by a hint of oak, and a fresh mineral note giving balanced tension. The finish has hints of toast, dark chocolate and sweet spices coupled with delicate tannins and good length.
