"Blue fruit, inky tones, crayon and liquorice. Ripe fruit with a juicy core with really quite forward and present tannins that grip the palate and hold on. More chalky and powdery than dry though which provides a nice counter to the tangy acidity. This will be lovely in time, relaxed, calm and softly juicy but still with enough texture to be filling. Not bad at all! Clean and focussed with refinement."

How To Buy En Primeur In 4 Steps
1. Select which En Primeur wine/wines you would like to order and pay for them today. Please note that this order can only contain wine from the En Primeur selection and may not include any other web products.
2. You will receive a confirmation email and receipt for your order. Please disregard any reference to shipping/delivery in these automated emails. We will contact you as soon as your wines arrive in 2027 – the delivery cost is included in the price you pay today.
3. In the summer of 2027 you will be invoiced for the Excise Duty and VAT on the excise duty.*
4. The 2024 wines will be bottled and released by the Châteaux in the summer of 2027 and will then be shipped to your preferred location in Ireland.
No minimum order and if you spend €100 or more we'll deliver your order for free anywhere in Ireland.
Orders are normally delivered within 1-2 working days, (Monday-Friday excluding bank holidays) of you placing the order.
Change your mind? No problem. You can cancel your order at any stage or return some or all of it through any of our stores or we can arrange a collection. Simply contact us by email online@obrienswine.ie and we'll look after the rest.
