Description

Château Lynch -Bages is one of the original Irish Wine Geese and this iconic estate has had Irish connections since the 18th & 19th centuries. The estate is now owned and run by the Cazes family who continue to work to represent the vineyards and terroir of the Pauillac region.

The wines of Château Lynch-Bages are defined by their outstandingly consistent quality, vintage after vintage.

Tasting Note

Lynch-Bages 2015 has a brilliant, deep colour with purple hues. Its nose clearly expresses aromas of cassis and dark fruit, mixed with the complexity notes that come with ageing. It has a straightforward initial impression on the palate with a voluminous yet supple mid-palate. The wine has a marked but silky tannic structure, and a persistent finish illustrative of a particularly ripe vintage.
