Since the 17th century, the first wine of Château Margaux has been recognised as being one of the greatest wines in the entire world. It has an extraordinary ability to evolve. Over the years, it has developed a finesse, an aromatic complexity and a remarkable presence on the palate.

The 2005 vintage is one of exceptional power, finesse and harmony.

Tasting Note

First, the 2005 has all of its class: an incomparable nose of finesse, grace & depth that belongs solely to its terroir and is only found in a few dream vintages. It also has its power & its concentration on the palate shows is exceptional intensity, density & length.
