13.0%
Description
The Château Ormes de Pez estate dates to the 18th century and was bought by Domaines Jean-Michel Cazes (owner of the renowned Lynch-Bages) in the wake of the Second World War. Located on the left bank of Bordeaux, in the commune of Saint-Estèphe, the wines are powerful yet elegant. This one is crafted predominantly with Cabernet Sauvignon and complemented by a generous amount of Merlot for a combination of longevity and smoothness.
Tasting Note
A powerful and distinctive Saint-Estèphe, this wine will charm you with its opulence, elegance and well-rounded structure. The palate offers robust tannins whilst retaining a smooth, fleshy side. This wine is capable of many years graceful ageing if well cellared.
