Description

This beautiful Merlot-led blend is made with quality grapes from the heart of St-Émilion. Notes of currants, blueberries and blackberries are joined by smooth tannins, while 6 months ageing in barrel has added a toasty complexity. Château Vieux Pourret is in the process of converting its 8.5-hectare property to biodynamic viticulture, refusing the use of any pesticides and herbicides. As a result, this Grand Cru wine contains only the healthiest grapes from the heart of St-Émilion.

Tasting Note

A solid and robust palate with concentrated structure, revealing currants, blueberries and blackberries resting on smooth tannins. The 6 months aging in barrel gives an added layer and toasty complexity.
