Chimay Brewery in Belgium is renowned for its Trappist beers, crafted under the supervision of monks from Scourmont Abbey, which began brewing in 1862. The brewery supports the monastery and local charities, contributing to community development.

Chimay Red was the first beer brewed in the brewery. Chimay Red pairs well with a variety of dishes, including poultry, stews, and roasted meats. Its versatility extends to a broad spectrum of cheeses, making it an excellent choice for diverse meals.

Tasting Note

A succession of ripe fruits such as orange, peach and apricot is paired exquisitely with sweet malty flavours such as nougat and biscuit. Its refreshing minerality and smooth bitterness complete the palette of flavours.
