The Right Bank is represented by Château Saint-Poly Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, made mainly from Merlot grown on old, south-west facing vines and aged in barrel for depth. Château Clos du Roy, from the Hermouet family, shows what Fronsac’s hillside vineyards can do.
