Description
This superb Amontillado fortified wine comes from world-renowned 6th generation winery, Gonzalez Byass (producers of the iconic Tio Pepe).It’s traditionally drunk as an accompaniment for pre-dinner nuts, smoked and savoury canapes or by itself as an aperitif. It's also a great partner for succulent roast beef, hearty winter casseroles, game or mature Cheddar cheese.
Tasting Note
This 30-year-old Amontillado is a superb expression with intense aromas that combine briney freshness with pronounced notes of roasted hazelnuts, fig and polished leather. A dry sherry with great complexity from extended ageing in solera.Product Reviews
