Domaine René Malleron has been a family business for over a century, passing between father and son, the estate covers just over 11 hectares. It is situated in the southern region of Sancerre, at the feet of the surrounding hillsides. Domaine René Malleron practices sustainable farming and encourages grass and weeds to grow between the rows of vines to encourage biodiversity and attract beneficial insects.Domaine René Malleron red Sancerre is made from 100% Pinot Noir. The wine style is refreshing and lively with notes of raspberry and strawberry, lingering balancing acidity and a savoury spice note on the finish.
