Description
Familia Deicas is a family-run winery in southern Uruguay, with the second and third generations now running the business. Their Preludio Barrel Select was first made in 1992 to prove Uruguay had the potential for making world-class wines. The attention to detail results in a consistently brilliant and complex wine. Bottled unfiltered, so recommended to decant 30 minutes before serving.Tasting Note
A wonderfully concentrated and intense wine with a deep, dark fruits of the forest, dried fig and sweet spice profile. The finish is long and evolving with a savoury and herbal complexity framed by ripe, round tannins.Product Reviews
