Gaia Wines was founded in 1994 by Agriculturalist and Enologist Yiannis Paraskevopoulosan and Agriculturalist and Leon Karatsalos. Gaia owns vineyards and two wineries, one in Nemea in Peloponnese and one on the island of Santorini. This unique Greek rosé is made from Agiorgitiko, a fragrant red wine grape native to Greece's Peloponnese peninsula. A Mediterranean climate prevails here, and the 15-30 year old vines are grown at altitudes ranging from 800 to 1,040 metres above sea level. Gaia 4-6H rosé is made from 100% Agiorgitiko, a delicate pale pink, fruity with hints of strawberry aroma, notes of pomegranate and rose petals and refreshing crisp acidity.
