Heaney Farmhouse Brewery was established in 2018 on the Heaney family farm. It was inspired by the land and the people that influenced the famous poet Seamus Heaney. The brewery focuses on crafting high-quality beers that reflect the rich heritage and natural beauty of the region. They offer a variety of brews, all made with locally sourced ingredients.

Tasting Note

Their Irish White is inspired by the Wit beers of Belgium and the Weiss beers of Germany. These beers are all about the delicate balance between malt and yeast. Spicy, peppery notes from the yeast dance with floral and citrus aromas from the addition of coriander seeds and sweet orange peel. Probably the most versatile beer for food pairing, it works well with seafood and complements spicy curries.
