This wine come from vineyards located at 450m above sea level to retain freshness and acidity in the Sangiovese grapes. Intense and complex with a wide, full-bodied palate and flavours of dark cherry and plums. 18 months in oak casks give an earthy and balsamic note, as well as toast and a touch of smoke.
