A Superb Sicilian Red
nero d'avola
13%
Tapas, Nuts & Olives

Description

Vigneti Zabù was established to produce top-quality wines in Sicily. The native Sicilian grape variety Nerello Mascalese is best known for the perfumed wines of Mount Etna, but it can produce wines of real character elsewhere too. This expression comes from the hills around Lake Arancio in Sambuca di Sicilia, where winemaker Giuseppe Alfano Burruano has crafted an expressive red that captures the warmth and charm of Sicily in every glass. A versatile food wine, it pairs beautifully with pappardelle al ragù, lasagne, aubergine parmigiana or your favourite pizza.

Tasting Note

A vibrant Sicilian red with aromas of ripe red berries, coffee and dark chocolate. Smooth and well-balanced, it offers soft tannins, juicy fruit flavours and a long, silky finish.
