Description
As whisky ages and matures, a portion is lost fromthe barrel due to evaporation. This is referred to as the Angel's Share. During aging some liquid is also absorbed into the barrel where it staysafter the barrel is emptied., This, Jim Beam claim, is the 'devil's cut' and they have developed a process of extracting it. This is then blended withtheir extra-aged bourbon to 45% Abv, Aroma: Deep char aroma with a smoky backdrop.
, Taste: Full bodied with intense oak and vanillanotes. Dark chocolate, leather and spice.
, Finish: Long finish of vanilla oak with notes of cinnamon and muscovado sugar
