Kinnegar Brewing have built a reputation as one of Ireland's most inventive craft breweries, and their commitment to rye beers in particular sets them apart. And we like rye beers. Shuttle Bucket is a Double Rye IPA, a step up in every direction from their well-loved Rustbucket Rye Ale.
At 8% ABV, this is a deep golden DIPA hopped with American varieties that deliver resinous pine and citrus alongside a chewy rye malt backbone. The rye brings spice, depth, and a distinctive earthy character that keeps the big hop flavours grounded. It's complex, full-bodied, and built to be savoured rather than rushed.
This one calls for food to take the experience to the next level. Try it with aged cheddar, a good beef burger or smoked ribs. The spice and bitterness of the beer can stand up to strong flavours on the plate.
