Description

Luzón Verde is made by our long-time partners, Bodegas Luzón, who are regarded as one of the finest wineries in the region. It is made from the Monastrell grape variety, organically grown in vineyards located in the small Jumilla region, near Alicante in southeast Spain. The tannins are noticeable but silky soft and ideal to pair with varied tapas plates. Luzón Verde shows the excellent value to be found when you step outside the better-known Spanish regions.

Tasting Note

This wine is lively and fresh with vibrant dark berry fruits balanced by a seam of refreshing acidity. The tannins are noticeable but silky soft and ideal to pair with varied tapas plates.

Bodgeas Luzón was founded in the Jumilla region of southwest  Spain  in 1841. In 2005 the 275 hectare estate was bought by the Fuertes family, who have invested heavily to modernise the grape growing and winemaking practices.
